It complies with IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-ER4, QSFP+ MSA, and Infiniband QDR/DDR standards, supporting up to 40 km over G.652 SMF with a duplex LC interface. The module integrates DFB lasers, APD/TIA receivers, and a digital diagnostics interface.
