The cable features an 850nm VCSEL transmitter and a PIN photo-detector receiver, supporting data rates of up to 10.3125Gbps. With a hot-pluggable SFP+ form factor and compliance with SFF-8431, the cable is optimized for applications such as 10-Gigabit Ethernet, InfiniBand QDR/DDR/SDR, and 4G/8G Fiber Channel. Its all-metal housing ensures superior EMI performance, and the module is RoHS-compliant, making it an environmentally friendly choice for modern networking systems.
The cable operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, with a low power consumption of 230mA per end. It offers a typical transmitter optical power of -6.5dBm to -1dBm, with an extinction ratio of 3.5dB for signal clarity. The receiver sensitivity is -11.1dBm, providing reliable performance with a bit error rate of less than 10^-12. Equipped with an I2C management interface, the module allows real-time monitoring of temperature, voltage, and other key parameters.
