The 800Gbps OSFP Closed Top DR8 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for short-range optical communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 500 meters. Featuring an 8x100Gbps DR optical interface compliant with IEEE 802.3cu-2021 standards, it supports Ethernet and InfiniBand NDR applications. With dual MPO-12 APC connectors and an EML transmitter paired with a PIN photodetector, this transceiver ensures robust signal integrity. It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C and offers a hot-pluggable OSFP form factor for ease of deployment.
Operating on a single +3.3V power supply with a maximum power dissipation of 16.5W, the transceiver includes advanced digital diagnostics accessible through a two-wire interface. It is compliant with CMIS 5.0, OSFP MSA Rev 5.0, and RoHS standards, ensuring compatibility and environmental responsibility.
