The 100Gbps QSFP28 PSM4 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for short-range communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 2 kilometers. This transceiver features four independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of supporting data rates up to 26Gbps, resulting in an aggregate bandwidth of 104Gbps. Utilizing a 1310nm DFB laser array, it connects via an MPO connector, offering increased port density and cost efficiency for modern data center interconnects. It complies with QSFP28 MSA standards and is optimized for applications like 100G Ethernet and high-speed proprietary interconnects.
Operating on a single +3.3V power supply with power consumption below 3.5W, the module is energy-efficient and reliable within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. Transmission uses a 1310 nm DFB laser array over 8-fiber MPO cable, supporting distances up to 2 km on G.652 SMF. The module consumes < 3.5 W, operates from a single +3.3 V supply, and includes integrated digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM). It is fully hot-pluggable and RoHS-6 compliant.
