The 155Mb/s 200Km SFP Transceiver (CT-MSFP-XZX++) is a high-performance module designed for extended-range optical communication over single-mode fiber (SMF). With its duplex LC optics interface and hot-pluggable design, it supports data links of up to 155Mb/s, making it ideal for SONET OC-3/SDH STM-1, Fast Ethernet, and other optical applications. The transceiver uses a 1550nm DFB laser transmitter and a PIN receiver, providing a link budget of up to 29dB for reliable performance across distances of up to 200 kilometers. It operates with a single +3.3V power supply and offers digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) compliant with SFF-8472 standards.

This transceiver supports a broad range of operating environments, including commercial (0°C to 70°C), extended (-5°C to 85°C), and industrial (-40°C to 85°C) temperature ranges. Its power consumption remains below 1W, ensuring energy efficiency even under demanding conditions. The module is compliant with RoHS standards, making it an environmentally friendly choice.

Optical performance is a key feature of this transceiver. The transmitter operates at a center wavelength of 1550nm, with an optical output power range of +2dBm to +5dBm and an extinction ratio of 10dB. The receiver supports wavelengths between 1260nm and 1600nm, with a sensitivity of -42dBm and overload capability of -8dBm. The module features low jitter (peak-to-peak and RMS) and adheres to G.957 standards for optical eye diagrams, ensuring high-quality signal transmission.

Electrically, the module is designed with versatility in mind. The transmitter input differential impedance is 100Ω, with a data input swing range of 250mVp-p to 1200mVp-p. The receiver provides a single-ended data output swing of 300mV to 800mV. Additional features such as transmit disable/enable control and loss of signal (LOS) detection ensure precise operational control and fault monitoring.

The CT-MSFP-XZX++ transceiver complies with international standards for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), including FCC Part 15 Class B and EN55022 Class B, and is classified as a Class 1 laser product under FDA and IEC standards. Its robust regulatory compliance, combined with its advanced optical and electrical performance, makes it a reliable solution for long-distance optical communication.
