The 1000BASE-SX SFP compatible SFP transceiver is designed for reliable fiber optic networking, supporting link distances of up to 550m over multi-mode fiber (MMF) at a wavelength of 1310nm through an LC connector. Each module is individually tested for compatibility with a range of Cisco switches, routers, servers, and network interface cards (NICs).

It functions effectively in commercial temperature ranges of 0°C to +70°C and can endure more demanding industrial conditions, with a range of -40°C to +85°C.
