The CT-XFP-DWXX-40 is a hot-pluggable XFP optical transceiver compliant with the XFP MSA and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-ER/EW standards. It supports data rates from 9.95 to 11.3 Gb/s across ITU-T C-band DWDM channels (C17–C61, 1528.77–1563.86 nm). The module uses a cooled EML transmitter with a PIN photodiode receiver for distances up to 40 km on standard G.652 SMF. Power consumption is < 3.5 W using +3.3 V and +5 V supplies. Digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) is provided via I²C, including temperature, voltage, bias, and TX/RX power.
