This OSFP Optical Transceiver is an 800Gb/s twin-port OSFP module, supporting two 400Gb/s DR8 single-mode, parallel, 8-channel connections. It utilizes a pair of 2-fiber, 4-channel MPO-12/APC optical connectors, each operating at 400Gb/s. Designed with 100G-PAM4 modulation, this transceiver enables data transmission over a maximum distance of 500 meters using 8 single-mode fibers.
Qualified for InfiniBand NDR end-to-end systems, it is an optimal choice for supercomputing environments, seamlessly integrating with computing and storage infrastructures to deliver high-performance interconnectivity. It is also used in Quantum-2 air-cooled switches.
The 800Gbps OSFP Closed Top DR8 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for short-range optical communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 500 meters. Featuring an 8x100Gbps DR optical interface compliant with IEEE 802.3cu-2021 standards, it supports Ethernet and InfiniBand NDR applications. With dual MPO-12 APC connectors and an EML transmitter paired with a PIN photodetector, this transceiver ensures robust signal integrity. It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C and offers a hot-pluggable OSFP form factor for ease of deployment.
Operating on a single +3.3V power supply with a maximum power dissipation of 16.5W, the transceiver includes advanced digital diagnostics accessible through a two-wire interface. It is compliant with CMIS 5.0, OSFP MSA Rev 5.0, and RoHS standards, ensuring compatibility and environmental responsibility.
