The 1000BASE LX compatible SFP transceiver is designed for high-speed data transmission, supporting link distances of up to 10km over single-mode fiber (SMF) through an LC duplex connector. It features digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) via a 2-wire serial interface, in compliance with the SFF-8472 standard.
Each module is individually tested for compatibility with a range of switches, routers, servers, and network interface cards (NICs). With low power consumption, high-speed performance, and hot-swappable functionality, this 1G SFP transceiver is an ideal solution for Internet Service Provider (ISP) Gigabit Ethernet communication links, as well as Enterprise LAN & SAN networks, Data Center LAN & SAN environments, and other optical networking applications.

The 1000BASE-LX 155Mbps SFP Optical Transceiver offers reliable performance for applications requiring data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 20 kilometers. It features an SFP package with an LC connector, combining ease of use with durability. The transceiver is equipped with a 1310nm FP laser and PIN photodetector, delivering robust optical signal transmission. Its design includes a single +3.3V power supply and LVPECL-compatible data input/output interface, ensuring seamless integration into Ethernet, telecom, and Fiber Channel networks. The transceiver adheres to IEC-60825 laser safety standards and is fully RoHS compliant, meeting industry safety and environmental regulations.
Designed to operate in diverse environments, the transceiver supports supply voltages ranging from 3.15V to 3.45V and tolerates operating temperatures from 0°C to +70°C in commercial settings, with an extended range of -40°C to +85°C for industrial applications. Its power dissipation is limited to 1W, providing energy-efficient performance at a data rate of 155Mbps. With excellent electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, this transceiver is built for use in sensitive network environments.
The optical characteristics of the transceiver ensure high-quality signal integrity. The transmitter section provides a center wavelength of 1310nm and an average output power between -15dBm and -3dBm. The extinction ratio ranges from 12dB to 18dB, ensuring effective differentiation between high and low signal levels. The receiver section operates across a broad wavelength range from 1260nm to 1620nm, with a sensitivity of -34dBm and an overload threshold of -3dBm. With a differential impedance of 100Ω for both the transmitter and receiver sections, it supports input and output swing differentials that accommodate a variety of network configurations. Voltage thresholds for TX Disable and Rx_LOS functions allow precise control and feedback for seamless operation.
