The CT-SFP-XZX+ is a high-performance Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical transceiver engineered for long-haul optical communication across single-mode fiber (SMF). Supporting data rates up to 1.25 Gbps, this module is optimized for applications in Ethernet, Telecom, and Fibre Channel networks where reliable, extended-distance connectivity is critical. Leveraging a 1550 nm DFB laser transmitter and an APD photodiode receiver, the transceiver achieves transmission distances of up to 180 km, offering exceptional sensitivity and stability for backbone and metropolitan networks.
With its compact LC duplex interface and hot-pluggable SFP form factor, the CT-SFP-XZX+ provides seamless integration into existing network infrastructures. It operates on a single +3.3 V power supply, consuming less than 1 W, and delivers low electromagnetic interference (EMI) along with robust electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. Advanced electrical and optical performance includes an optical output power of +1 dBm to +6 dBm, an extinction ratio of up to 15 dB, and receiver sensitivity down to –34 dBm, ensuring strong signal integrity even under challenging conditions.
The module supports both commercial (0 °C to +70 °C) and industrial (–40 °C to +85 °C) operating environments, making it suitable for a wide range of deployment scenarios.
