The 1.25Gbps Bi-Directional SFP Optical Transceiver is designed for ultra-long-distance communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 180 kilometers. It is equipped with a 1490nm DFB laser and a 1550nm APD receiver or a 1550nm DFB laser and a 1490nm APD receiver, depending on the configuration. The transceiver supports a +3.3V single power supply and provides reliable performance for Ethernet, telecom, and Fiber Channel applications. Its SFP package with LC connectors ensures compatibility with various network setups, and it is compliant with laser safety standards (IEC-60825) and RoHS regulations, making it a safe and environmentally responsible choice.
The module operates with low power dissipation, consuming just 1W, and supports a data rate of 1.25Gbps. It offers a transmitter output power of +2dBm to +5dBm and a receiver sensitivity of -32dBm, ensuring robust signal transmission and reception over extended distances. With an operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C for commercial applications and -40°C to +85°C for industrial use, the transceiver is designed for reliable performance in various environments. These hot-pluggable SFP modules operate from a single 3.3 V supply, feature LVPECL data I/O, low EMI with robust ESD protection, and comply with IEC-60825 laser safety and RoHS requirements. Two wavelength options are available: 1490 nm DFB transmitter with 1550 nm APD receiver (-180U), and 1550 nm DFB transmitter with 1490 nm APD receiver (-180D). Rated data rate is 1.25 Gbps for Ethernet/Fibre Channel/Telecom deployments, with link budgets supporting reaches up to 180 km on SMF.
