The 10Gbps DWDM XFP Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for ultra-long-distance data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 80 kilometers. Supporting data rates ranging from 9.95Gbps to 11.3Gbps, it is suitable for applications such as 10GBASE-ZR/ZW Ethernet, DWDM Fiber Channel, and SONET OC-192/SDH STM-64. The transceiver integrates a cooled DWDM EML laser and an APD receiver, making it ideal for dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) systems. It complies with XFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) specifications, IEEE 802.3ae standards, and ITU-T requirements for reliable and efficient operation.

This module operates on +3.3V and +5V power supplies with a power consumption of less than 3.5W. It is designed for commercial environments, with an operating case temperature range from 0°C to 70°C. The hot-pluggable design and duplex LC connector allow for easy integration into modern networking systems. Advanced digital diagnostics provide real-time monitoring of temperature, voltage, laser bias current, and optical power, accessible via a two-wire serial interface. Alarm and warning flags notify users of deviations from optimal performance thresholds, ensuring network reliability.
