Les CT-CFP-LR4 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module engineered for long-distance data communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 10 kilometers. Supporting line rates from 103.125 Gbps to 111.81 Gbps, it is compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4 standards and the CFP MSA specifications. The transceiver utilizes a 4-channel LAN WDM architecture, integrating TOSA (Transmitter Optical Sub-Assembly) and ROSA (Receiver Optical Sub-Assembly) for robust signal transmission and reception. It employs a duplex LC optical interface and a 148-pin electrical connector, facilitating seamless integration with networking equipment.
Operating with a single +3.3V power supply and consuming less than 12W of power, the module provides efficient performance across a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. The transmitter converts 10-lane 10.3Gbps CAUI electrical inputs into 4-lane LAN-WDM 25.78Gbps optical signals, while the receiver de-multiplexes incoming optical signals into 10-lane electrical outputs. Advanced diagnostics and management are enabled through the MDIO interface, allowing for real-time monitoring and control. The CT-CFP-LR4 is a hot-pluggable CFP form factor optical module designed for 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications. It converts 10×10.3 Gb/s CAUI electrical inputs into 4×25.78 Gb/s LAN-WDM optical channels, multiplexed into a single duplex LC interface. On the receive side, LAN-WDM signals are de-multiplexed and converted back to electrical CAUI. It supports distances up to 10 km over G.652 SMF, operates from a single +3.3 V power supply, and consumes < 12 W. MDIO provides module monitoring and management, including alarms and diagnostics.
