The 100Gbps QSFP28 PSM4 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for short-range communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 2 kilometers. This transceiver features four independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of supporting data rates up to 26Gbps, resulting in an aggregate bandwidth of 104Gbps. Utilizing a 1310nm DFB laser array, it connects via an MPO connector, offering increased port density and cost efficiency for modern data center interconnects. The HPE JH420A Compatible is a pluggable parallel fiber QSFP28 module designed for 100G Ethernet interconnects. Transmission uses a 1310 nm DFB laser array over 8-fiber MPO cable, supporting distances up to 2 km on G.652 SMF. The module consumes < 3.5 W, operates from a single +3.3 V supply, and includes integrated digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM). It is fully hot-pluggable and RoHS-6 compliant.
