The 40Gbps QSFP+ SRBD Optical Transceiver is a high-performance, short-range module designed for duplex data communication over multimode fiber (MMF) using LC duplex connectors. Operating at a wavelength of 850nm and 900nm, the transceiver integrates four electrical lanes into two optical channels, each with a 20Gbps capacity, achieving a total aggregate bandwidth of 40Gbps. It supports transmission distances of up to 100 meters with OM3 fiber and 150 meters with OM4 fiber. The module adheres to QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba standards, making it an ideal solution for 40Gb Ethernet interconnects, data aggregation, and high-speed backplane applications.
This transceiver operates on a single +3.3V power supply with a power consumption of up to 3.5W. Its hot-pluggable design allows for easy integration and maintenance, while its RoHS compliance ensures environmentally friendly use. This hot-pluggable QSFP+ module integrates four electrical lanes at 10.3125 Gbps each, multiplexed into two 20 Gbps optical channels for a total 40Gbps bandwidth. It complies with IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4 XLPPI and QSFP+ MSA (SFF-8436). Designed for reuse of legacy duplex LC cabling, it enables 40G Ethernet deployment without MPO infrastructure. The module operates over MMF with typical power dissipation of 2.5 W (max 3.5 W) on a single 3.3 V supply. Operating case temperature is 0 °C to +70 °C. Note: digital diagnostics are not supported.
