Add to quote

The 1.25Gbps CWDM Single-mode SFP Transceiver is a high-performance optical module designed for ultra-long-distance data communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 120 kilometers. Encased in a hot-pluggable SFP footprint with a duplex LC/UPC optical interface, this transceiver leverages a DFB laser transmitter and an APD receiver to ensure efficient and reliable performance. It supports data rates of up to 1.25Gbps, making it ideal for applications such as switch-to-switch interfaces, Gigabit Ethernet, backplane applications, router/server interfaces, and other optical links. The transceiver complies with SFF-8472 standards and supports digital diagnostic monitoring.

The transceiver operates efficiently on a single +3.3V power supply, with low power dissipation and a metal enclosure that minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMI). It functions within a wide temperature range of 0°C to +70°C, making it suitable for diverse commercial networking environments. Additionally, the module meets RoHS standards, ensuring an environmentally friendly design.

Optically, the transceiver delivers superior performance, with a transmitter average output power range of 0dBm to +5dBm and an extinction ratio of 9dB. The CWDM wavelengths span from 1270nm to 1610nm, offering flexible channel allocation for optimized bandwidth usage. The receiver is highly sensitive, with a minimum sensitivity of -32dBm, and supports wavelengths from 1270nm to 1610nm, ensuring compatibility with a variety of CWDM systems. Advanced features like Loss of Signal (LOS) and Transmitter Disable (Tx Disable) enhance diagnostic capabilities and operational control.

The transceiver’s electrical characteristics include a differential line input impedance of 100Ω, support for input swing differentials, and compliance with IEEE 802.3z standards for transmitter output eye masks. The 2-wire serial communication protocol enables access to identification and diagnostic information, while real-time monitoring of operating parameters such as temperature, laser bias current, and optical power enhances reliability. Alarm and warning flags notify users of conditions outside of normal operating ranges.

In summary, the 1.25Gbps CWDM Single-mode SFP Transceiver is an advanced and reliable solution for ultra-long-distance networking. Its cutting-edge optical and electrical specifications, coupled with robust compliance to industry standards, make it an invaluable asset for telecommunications and high-performance data infrastructure.
