The 100GBASE-SR4 QSFP28 Active Optical Cable (CT-100G-QAOC-XX) is a high-performance, multi-channel module designed for short-range data communication over multimode fiber (MMF). Supporting transmission distances of up to 70 meters with OM3 fiber and 100 meters with OM4 fiber, this cable achieves data rates of up to 25Gbps per channel, with an aggregate bandwidth of 100Gbps. Featuring a 4-channel 850nm VCSEL array for transmission and a PIN photodetector array for reception, it is compliant with IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE-SR4 and QSFP28 MSA standards, making it an ideal solution for data centers, Infiniband FDR/EDR, and high-speed Ethernet applications.
Operating with a low power consumption of under 2W and a single +3.3V power supply, the module integrates CDR circuits on both transmitter and receiver sides for superior signal integrity, with optional bypass support for flexible operation. Its robust design includes an MPO connector receptacle and hot-pluggable QSFP form factor, ensuring ease of installation and maintenance. With RoHS compliance, a case operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C, and advanced digital diagnostics for real-time performance monitoring, this transceiver delivers reliable, energy-efficient performance for high-speed networking environments.
