The SNR-CFP2-QSFP28 Converter Module is designed to seamlessly convert a 100G QSFP28 port into a CFP2 port, offering versatility in high-speed networking environments. It complies with both CFP2 MSA and QSFP28 MSA specifications and operates with a single +3.3V power supply, consuming less than 1.8W. The module supports 4 x 25G electrical plug interfaces for CFP2 and 4 x 25G electrical socket interfaces for QSFP28. It features a hot-pluggable 104-pin connector, allowing easy installation and integration into existing systems. With a wide case temperature operating range from 0°C to 70°C, the converter is suitable for various network conditions and ensures efficient thermal management with its integrated heat sink.

This converter enables flexibility in using either CFP2 or QSFP28 modules, making it ideal for scenarios where specific interface types are unavailable or when uniformity across multiple platforms is required. It supports 100G Ethernet and OTU4 applications, providing high-speed data transmission with excellent electromagnetic shielding for high-density port deployments. The device meets RoHS compliance standards, ensuring environmental safety, and includes management capabilities through an MDIO 2-wire interface for enhanced control and diagnostics.
