The 800Gbps OSFP Closed Top SR8 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for ultra-fast data communication over multimode fiber (MMF). Supporting PAM4 modulation, it operates across eight full-duplex data lanes at 53.125Gbps each, delivering an aggregate bandwidth of 800Gbps. The module supports distances of up to 50 meters over OM3 fiber and 100 meters over OM4 fiber with Forward Error Correction (FEC). Designed with dual MPO-12 APC connectors, the transceiver offers flexibility in deployment for breakout connections (e.g., 8x100G SR, 2x400G SR4) or point-to-point configurations.
The module operates on a single +3.3V power supply with a power dissipation of less than 14W. It is housed in a hot-pluggable OSFP form factor with an integrated heatsink for efficient thermal management. The transceiver is compliant with CMIS 5.0 and RoHS standards, ensuring reliability and environmental responsibility. It also features advanced digital diagnostics for real-time performance monitoring and supports commercial operating temperatures from 0°C to 70°C. This transceiver is an ideal solution for high-density, high-speed data center and network infrastructure.
