The 10Gbps Bi-Directional SFP+ Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for long-distance data communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 80 kilometers. Supporting data rates of up to 11.1Gbps, the CT-SFP+BX-80U features a 1490nm EML laser transmitter and an APD receiver operating at 1550nm, while the CT-SFP+BX-80D integrates a 1550nm EML laser transmitter and a 1490nm APD receiver. This hot-pluggable SFP+ module includes a duplex LC connector and complies with SFF-8431, SFF-8472, and IEEE 802.3ae standards, ensuring compatibility with industry-standard equipment for 10GBASE-BX applications.

The transceiver is designed for efficient and reliable operation, consuming less than 1.5W of power and functioning within a commercial temperature range of -10°C to 70°C, or an extended industrial range of -40°C to 85°C. RoHS compliance ensures an environmentally friendly design. Integrated digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) provides real-time feedback on operational parameters, facilitating proactive network management.

Optically, the transceiver delivers an average output power of 0dBm to +4dBm for the upstream unit and -1dBm to +3dBm for the downstream unit, with an extinction ratio of 7.5dB.
