Product Specifications

The 155Mbps Bi-Directional SFP Optical Transceiver is designed for ultra-long-distance communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 120 kilometers. Featuring two configurations—1490nm DFB laser with a 1550nm PIN photodetector, or 1550nm DFB laser with a 1490nm PIN photodetector—the transceiver provides reliable performance for Ethernet, telecom, and Fiber Channel applications. It operates with a single +3.3V power supply and complies with industry standards, including IEC-60825 for laser safety and RoHS for environmental compliance. Its compact SFP package with LC connectors ensures seamless integration into networking systems.

The module offers a transmitter output power of 0dBm to +5dBm with an extinction ratio between 12dB and 18dB, while the receiver sensitivity reaches -36dBm. Additional features include Loss of Signal (LOS) detection and LVPECL-compatible data input/output interfaces. It operates efficiently across commercial (0°C to +70°C) and industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature ranges, with low power dissipation of 1W. This transceiver is a dependable solution for high-speed, long-distance optical communication.

The CT-MSFP-BX-120U and CT-MSFP-BX-120D are hot-pluggable SFP modules that provide reliable 155 Mb/s bidirectional links over single-mode fiber up to 120 km. They integrate 1490 nm (U) or 1550 nm (D) DFB transmitters with complementary PIN photodiode receivers, enabling flexible deployment in long-distance networks. Operating on a single +3.3 V supply with <1 W power consumption, they feature LVPECL-compatible electrical interfaces, excellent EMI/ESD resistance, and digital diagnostics via EEPROM. Compliant with IEC-60825 laser safety and RoHS standards, they are available in commercial and industrial temperature grades.
