The 155Mbps Bi-Directional SFP Optical Transceiver is optimized for long-distance communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a reach of up to 80 kilometers. The transceiver features two configurations: a 1310nm DFB laser transmitter with a 1550nm PIN receiver or a 1550nm DFB laser transmitter with a 1310nm PIN receiver. It operates on a single +3.3V power supply and consumes only 1W of power, ensuring energy efficiency. The module complies with IEC-60825 laser safety standards and RoHS regulations, making it both safe and environmentally friendly. Its compact SFP package with an LC connector provides easy integration into Ethernet, telecom, and Fiber Channel applications.
With an average transmitter output power ranging from 0 to +5dBm, the module supports reliable data transmission. The receiver achieves sensitivity levels as low as -34dBm and handles input power up to 0dBm. Additional features, such as Loss of Signal (LOS) detection and LVPECL-compatible data input/output, enhance operational monitoring and performance. The CT-MSFP-BX-80U and CT-MSFP-BX-80D are hot-pluggable SFP modules optimized for bidirectional 155 Mb/s links up to 80 km on 9/125 μm SMF. They use 1310 nm (U) or 1550 nm (D) DFB transmitters with complementary PIN photodiode receivers, offering excellent optical performance with low EMI and robust ESD protection. Operating on a single +3.3 V supply with <1 W power dissipation, these transceivers are compliant with IEC-60825 laser safety and RoHS standards, and support LVPECL-compatible electrical interfaces for seamless system integration.
