The 100Gbps CFP4 LR4 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for long-distance data communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 10 kilometers. It integrates a LAN WDM TOSA (Transmitter Optical Sub-Assembly) and ROSA (Receiver Optical Sub-Assembly) to multiplex and demultiplex four 25Gbps data lanes, achieving a total aggregate bandwidth of 100Gbps. This module adheres to IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4 and CFP MSA standards, making it suitable for applications in Ethernet switches, routers, and data center interconnects. Its hot-pluggable CFP4 form factor and duplex LC connector ensure seamless integration into networking systems.
Operating on a single +3.3V power supply and consuming less than 6W, the transceiver is energy-efficient and supports a wide temperature range from 0°C to 70°C. It features advanced digital diagnostics through an MDIO interface, enabling real-time monitoring of parameters like temperature, voltage, bias current, and optical power. The CT-CFP4-LR4 is a high-performance hot-pluggable optical transceiver designed for 100GBASE-LR4 applications. It multiplexes four 25.78–27.95 Gb/s NRZ electrical lanes into four LAN-WDM optical channels (1296–1309 nm), combined into a single duplex LC interface. On the receive side, the integrated optical demultiplexer, PIN detectors, and TIA recover and retime the signal. It supports distances up to 10 km over G.652 SMF, operates from a single +3.3 V supply, and consumes less than 6 W. The module includes digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) and MDIO management, supporting alarms and low-power modes.
