The 32Gbps Fibre Channel SFP28 LR Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for long-distance optical communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 10 kilometers. It supports data rates of 28.05Gbps and is optimized for 16G/32G Fibre Channel applications. The transceiver integrates a 1310nm DFB laser and a PIN photodiode with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA), ensuring reliable and efficient signal transmission. Its compliance with the SFP28 MSA and SFF-8472 standards guarantees compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment. Additionally, the module features a duplex LC interface and operates on a single +3.3V power supply.
The transceiver is available in two grades: standard (0°C to 70°C) for commercial use and industrial (-40°C to 85°C) for deployment in harsher environments. With power consumption of only 1.2W, it offers energy-efficient performance. The transmitter delivers an average optical output power between -7dBm and +2dBm with an extinction ratio of 4dB, while the receiver provides sensitivity down to -11.6dBm. Advanced diagnostic capabilities include real-time monitoring of parameters like temperature, voltage, bias current, and optical power, making the transceiver a reliable choice for high-speed data communication.
This hot-pluggable SFP28 module supports line rates up to 28.05 Gbps, enabling both 16G and 32G Fibre Channel operation. It complies with SFP+ MSA and SFF-8472 standards and operates up to 10 km over 9/125 µm SMF with a duplex LC connector. The module uses a 1310 nm DFB transmitter and PIN/TIA receiver, with power consumption <1.5 W from a single 3.3 V supply. Available in commercial (0 °C to +70 °C) and industrial (−40 °C to +85 °C) temperature grades, it includes DDMI for real-time monitoring of optical parameters.
