This transceiver operates on a single +3.3V power supply with a power consumption of up to 3.5W. This hot-pluggable QSFP+ module integrates four electrical lanes at 10.3125 Gbps each, multiplexed into two 20 Gbps optical channels for a total 40Gbps bandwidth. It complies with IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4 XLPPI and QSFP+ MSA (SFF-8436). Designed for reuse of legacy duplex LC cabling, it enables 40G Ethernet deployment without MPO infrastructure. The module operates over MMF with typical power dissipation of 2.5 W (max 3.5 W) on a single 3.3 V supply. Operating case temperature is 0 °C to +70 °C. Note: digital diagnostics are not supported.
