The 100Gbps QSFP28 BIDI ER Transceiver is a high-performance optical module designed for long-distance communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 40 kilometers. The CT-QSFP28-BX-40U and CT-QSFP28-BX-40D are high-performance BiDi QSFP28 modules designed for long-reach single-fiber transmission. Each module provides a 100 Gb/s PAM4 optical channel by multiplexing 4×25 Gb/s electrical lanes into one optical signal. The BX-40U transmits at 1304.58 nm and receives at 1309.14 nm, while the BX-40D operates with the reverse wavelengths. Both support up to 40 km over G.652 SMF, operate on a single +3.3 V power supply, and consume ≤ 4.5 W.
