Il CT-SFP-T Copper SFP Transceiver is designed for 1.25Gbps bi-directional data links over Cat 5 cables, offering reliable and high-speed connectivity for Ethernet applications. This transceiver supports the IEEE 802.3 standard for 1000BASE-T and complies with SFP MSA specifications. Featuring a compact RJ-45 connector assembly, it provides a hot-pluggable SFP footprint, low power dissipation (1.05W typical), and fully metal enclosure to minimize EMI. It operates on a single +3.3V power supply, ensuring energy-efficient performance across different operating environments.
The module is built for flexibility, with a case operating temperature range from 0°C to +70°C for commercial use, extended to -10°C to +80°C for extended environments, and -40°C to +85°C for industrial applications. Advanced features such as RX_LOS pin link indication and full-duplex operation in preferred master mode ensure robust performance. Additionally, the transceiver uses 1000BASE-X auto-negotiation and is compatible with host systems utilizing I2C for accessing all PHY settings. This environmentally friendly module is RoHS-compliant and lead-free, making it an excellent choice for modern, sustainable networking infrastructures.
CT-SFP-T,1000BASE-T Copper Small Form Pluggable (SFP) transceivers are based on the SFP Multi Source Agreement (MSA) . They are compatible with the Gigabit Ethernet and 1000BASE-T standards as specified in IEEE Std 802.3 . The 1000BASE-T physical layer IC (PHY) can be accessed via I2C, allowing access to all PHY settings and features.
