Il CT-CFP2-LR4 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for long-distance optical communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a reach of up to 10 kilometers. It supports data rates ranging from 103.125Gbps to 111.81Gbps and integrates LAN WDM TOSA (Transmitter Optical Sub-Assembly) and ROSA (Receiver Optical Sub-Assembly) technologies. The module is compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4 standards and CFP MSA specifications, ensuring broad compatibility with modern networking systems. Its hot-pluggable design includes a duplex LC optical receptacle and supports MDIO (Management Data Input/Output) for advanced diagnostics and monitoring.

Operating with a single +3.3V power supply and consuming less than 9W, this transceiver ensures energy efficiency while maintaining robust performance within a case operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. It converts four lanes of electrical data into four LAN WDM optical signals, multiplexes them into a single output for transmission, and reversely demultiplexes incoming optical data for receiver processing. This functionality makes it ideal for applications in data centers, Ethernet switches, routers, and long-distance telecom networks.

The CT-CFP2-LR4 is a high-performance pluggable optical transceiver compliant with CFP2 MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4. It multiplexes four 25.78–27.95 Gb/s electrical channels into four LAN-WDM optical channels (1296–1309 nm), combined into a single duplex LC interface. On the receive side, optical signals are de-multiplexed, detected by PIN photodiodes, amplified, and retimed. The module supports transmission up to 10 km on G.652 SMF, consumes < 9 W, and operates from a single +3.3 V supply. It includes digital diagnostics and alarms accessible via MDIO.
