The 100Gbps QSFP28 CWDM4 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for short-range communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 2 kilometers. Compliant with QSFP28 MSA and 100G CWDM4 MSA standards, this transceiver operates with a 4-lane MUX/DEMUX design that consolidates four 25Gbps channels into a 100Gbps aggregate output. Equipped with a duplex LC connector, the module supports host Forward Error Correction (FEC) for maintaining signal integrity across extended distances.

It integrates advanced digital diagnostic monitoring to provide real-time feedback on operational parameters such as temperature, voltage, bias current, and optical power. Designed to the QSFP28 MSA and 100G CWDM4 MSA Rev 1.1, this module multiplexes four 25.78125 Gb/s electrical lanes into four CWDM optical lanes and combines them onto a single SMF link; the receiver de-multiplexes and outputs four electrical lanes. It operates from a single 3.3 V supply, supports digital diagnostics (temperature, voltage, per-lane TX/RX power and bias), and is specified for 0 °C to 70 °C case temperature. Interface is duplex LC for optics and 38-pin QSFP28 edge connector for electrical.
