The 400G ER4 – 400Gbps QSFP-DD ER4 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for ultra-long-distance communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 40 kilometers. It operates at a lane bit rate of 106.25Gbps using PAM4 modulation and features an 8-lane electrical interface (400GAUI-8) for efficient data transmission. The transceiver integrates an EML laser and APD receiver to ensure robust signal integrity and high sensitivity. Compliant with QSFP-DD MSA, IEEE 802.3 standards, and EU Directive 2015/863/EU, this transceiver is ideal for applications like 400GBASE-ER4 Ethernet, 5G backhaul, data center interconnects, and cloud networking.
Operating on a single +3.3V power supply with a maximum power consumption of 12W, the module ensures reliable performance within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. It provides advanced digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) through an I2C interface, enabling real-time monitoring of critical parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power.
