The 100Gbps QSFP28 LR4 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance module designed for long-range optical communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 10 kilometers. Compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4 standards, the module converts four 25Gbps electrical input channels into LAN WDM optical signals, multiplexing them into a single channel for 100Gbps transmission. At the receiver end, it de-multiplexes the 100Gbps optical input into four 25Gbps LAN WDM signals and converts them back into electrical signals. The module utilizes cooled LAN WDM DFB lasers for transmission and PIN ROSA for reception, ensuring superior performance in 100G Ethernet and client-side telecom connections.
Operating on a single +3.3V power supply, the transceiver consumes less than 3.5W, providing energy efficiency. It is hot-pluggable with a QSFP28 MSA-compliant form factor and features a duplex LC connector for seamless integration. Designed for robust operation, it functions reliably in environments with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 70°C. The module also includes advanced digital diagnostic monitoring, allowing real-time tracking of parameters such as temperature, voltage, bias current, and optical power. The CT-QSFP28-LR4 is a 100Gb/s optical transceiver compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4. It converts four 25 Gb/s electrical channels into four LAN-WDM optical channels (1295–1310 nm), multiplexed into a single fiber link via duplex LC connectors. On the receive side, a high-sensitivity PIN ROSA converts optical signals back to electrical. The module supports transmission up to 10 km on G.652 SMF, operates from a single +3.3 V supply, and consumes ≤ 3.5 W. Built-in DDM/DOM allows monitoring of optical and electrical parameters.
