Product Specifications

The 155Mbps Bi-Directional SFP Transceiver is a high-performance optical module designed for ultra-long-distance communication over single-mode fibre (SMF) up to 180 kilometres. Featuring a duplex LC optical interface, it operates on a single +3.3V power supply and offers data rates of 155Mbps. The transceiver includes a 1490nm or 1550nm DFB laser transmitter paired with a PIN receiver, ensuring robust signal integrity. With a power consumption of less than 1W, this module is highly energy-efficient. It adheres to SFF-8472 standards and offers advanced digital diagnostics for monitoring temperature, voltage, and optical performance.

Operating across commercial (0°C to +70°C), extended (-5°C to +85°C), and industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature ranges, this transceiver provides exceptional reliability in diverse environments. The transmitter delivers optical output power from +2dBm to +5dBm, with a receiver sensitivity down to -42dBm. The module is compliant with SONET OC-3/SDH STM-1 standards, as well as RoHS and IEC-60825 laser safety regulations, making it an excellent choice for Ethernet, telecom, and other optical link applications.

These hot-pluggable SFP modules provide reliable 155 Mb/s optical links over distances up to 180 km on 9/125 μm SMF, with link budgets up to 29 dB. They feature 1490 nm (upstream) or 1550 nm (downstream) DFB transmitters, PIN photodiode receivers, and digital diagnostic monitoring compliant with SFF-8472. Supporting commercial, extended, and industrial temperature grades, they operate on a single 3.3 V power supply with <1 W maximum consumption.
