The CT-XFP-BX-40U utilizes a 1270nm DFB laser transmitter and a 1330nm PIN receiver, while the CT-XFP-BX-40D includes a 1330nm DFB laser transmitter and a 1270nm PIN receiver. This module complies with the XFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and IEEE 802.3ae standards, making it compatible with modern networking equipment.

This transceiver operates on a single +3.3V power supply with a power consumption of less than 3.5W, ensuring energy efficiency.
