Il 10Gbps DWDM SFP+ Transceiver (CT-SFP+DWXX-40) is designed for long-distance optical communication over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 40 kilometers. Supporting data rates of up to 11.1Gbps, this transceiver is equipped with a DWDM EML laser and a PIN receiver, operating at C-band ITU Grid wavelengths with a 100GHz spacing. It complies with SFP+ MSA and SFF-8472 specifications and is fully compatible with IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-ER/EW standards, ensuring seamless integration with a variety of networking systems.

The module operates with a single +3.3V power supply and consumes less than 1.5W. It features advanced digital diagnostic monitoring via a 2-wire I2C interface, providing real-time data on key operational parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power. The hot-pluggable design and duplex LC connector make it easy to deploy and maintain, while compliance with RoHS and laser safety standards ensures environmental and operational safety. With an optical wavelength accuracy of ±0.1nm and a receiver sensitivity of -15.8dBm, this transceiver is an ideal solution for long-range, high-speed optical communication in metro and enterprise networks.

This DWDM SFP+ module supports up to 11.1 Gbps and complies with IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-ER/EW, SFF-8431, and SFF-8472 standards. It operates over 9/125 µm SMF up to 40 km using a duplex LC connector. The module is available in ITU-T 100 GHz C-band channels (1528.77 nm to 1563.86 nm). It integrates a cooled DFB-EML laser, PIN photodiode, and DDMI for real-time monitoring of key operating parameters. Power dissipation is <1.5 W with a 3.3 V supply, and the commercial case operating range is 0 °C to +70 °C.
