Housed in a hot-pluggable XFP form factor with an LC connector, it complies with XFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and IEEE 802.3ae standards.
Operating on a single +3.3V power supply with power dissipation below 2W, the transceiver is energy-efficient.
